Cookie Policy

This policy describes how ROKR uses essential site technologies and optional analytics. Last updated June 30, 2026.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Cookie Policy explains how ROKR uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies on our public website and related services.

We use these technologies only to operate the site and service, remember choices, protect accounts, understand service performance, monitor errors, and improve the ROKR experience.

2. Essential Technologies

Essential cookies and local storage support core website and service functions, including security, session management, load balancing, consent preferences, and form operation. These technologies are required for the site or service to work correctly.

The cookie banner stores your choice in localStorage under rokr-cookie-consent so we can remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics.

3. Authentication and Error Monitoring

ROKR uses third-party SDKs to operate the service. These SDKs may set their own cookies and use local storage or session storage for session continuity, security, and error tracking:

Authentication: Descope sets cookies and storage used to identify your session and keep you signed in.

Error monitoring: Sentry sets cookies and uses local storage and session storage to record application errors and performance breadcrumbs (such as signup funnel steps) and to deduplicate events. This data is used only to diagnose and fix issues and is governed by Sentry’s own privacy policy.

4. Functional Storage

Some features of the ROKR service rely on browser storage to remember your preferences, in-progress work, and recent items. Blocking functional storage may affect product features.

5. Optional Analytics

If you accept optional cookies, ROKR may use analytics tools to understand page views, feature usage, performance, and errors. This helps us maintain and improve the service.

We do not use optional analytics cookies to sell personal information or to build unrelated advertising profiles.

6. Retention

Cookies and storage entries generally expire when you clear your browser data or after the timeouts defined by the third-party SDKs. Authentication and error monitoring entries typically persist for the lifetime of your session or until you clear them in your browser.

7. Managing Preferences

You can accept or decline optional cookies from the cookie banner. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser and revisiting the website.

Most browsers also let you block, delete, or limit cookies and storage. Blocking essential technologies may affect website or service functionality.

8. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. ROKR respects DNT signals by treating them as a decline of optional analytics, equivalent to declining optional cookies through the cookie banner.

9. Contact
